Life on earth exists because of an endless cycle where one element affects another. Feng Shui is interpretted as wind and water. Today, it is used as a term to describe the ancient art of placement that helps us tap into this natural cycle to bring about good and harmonious energies called chi.
Good chi increases one's health, enhances the ability to go with the flow thus also increasing harmony in areas of wealth, recognition, marriage, children, help from others, education, etc. Those who are in harmony with their enviroment are likely to be clear in thinking, able to seize opportunity and profit with minimal obstacles.
There's the marco level chi that studies landscape formation to determine the prosperity of the towns or cities and there is the micro level, which observes the individual's habitat from yard to home, to room, to individual's clothing to body meridians. Feng Shui mostly observes the external enviroment.
When we do face challenges in these areas it is because we have some how disconnected ourselves from this cycle either intentionally or unintentionally. If you are facing challenges in any of the eight bagua areas, you might want to test out these theories yourself.
